The Gites
La Jacinthe
La Jacinthe is a ground floor apartment and is furnished in a traditional style.
She sleeps 2 + cot, has a kitchen, a lounge/bedroom, (with 4'6 double bed).
She is equipped with a TV/Video with English Satellite, a shower and toilet and, outside has a gravelled patio area, shrubs, flowers, garden furniture and BBQ.

This Apartment appeals to the old and young alike. I have also found that a lot of people love the advantage of literally having parking right outside. It has proved to be very popular for people who like to stay long term whilst house hunting, being small and cheaper, thus the special long term prices are very appealing.
Because of her low cost (compared to the other Gites at MaisonDesFleurs or, indeed, other Gites in the area), La Jacinthe is a busy little Gite.
She appeals to people who just want a low cost, get away from it all week (or fortnight) - people who are intent on exploring or just relaxing and getting back to reality.
At all times of the year, La Jacinthe welcomes you.
You may wish to note that, because of her size, La Jacinthe isn't suitable for family holidays and thus, her bookings tend not to revolve around school holidays as much as the other Gites.
Le Petunia
Being the largest Gite, Le Petunia is always in demand. Her wood burning stoves (one in the kitchen and one in the living room) make her an enticing prospect, all year round.
Most of my repeat business (which is the true test of quality) comes from Le Petunia (because of her size).

One of Le Petunia's bedrooms,(the master bedroom which is very light and airy) has been newly created with an en-suite hydrotherapy shower/toilet and could easily be used as a family room with an extra bed, there is also a separate bathroom and toilet leading from the hallway.
A large lounge with exposed beams, having a Breton fireplace with a superb burner and a cosy suite in front, TV/Video with English Satellite, DVD player, CD/Hi-Fi, a dining area, and a sofa for those pre-dinner aperitifs!
Le Petunia is also very popular for families with grand parents for example, who would like some independence now and again, as there is an interconnecting door directly into the Apartment, thus giving privacy to both parties.
In the well equipped kitchen there is an oven, hob, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer.
as you can see there is a 'Rayburn style' cooker which supplies the central heating and is fired by wood, the top is ideal for slow cooking casseroles, jacket potatoes etc., and in the summer months there is a top to put over the cooker, creating more work space.
There is an attractive gravelled patio area, to the front of the Gite, which is filled with flowers and comes with garden furniture and a BBQ.
La Jonquille
La Jonquille is a very light and airy Gite, very popular, being just the right size for a standard family with 1-2 children especially for summer holidays and half terms. Also very popular for long term lets as has its own meters for electricity and water.

You will find an easy to work in and well equipped kitchen having fridge, electric cooker, microwave and washing machine for your convenience. You have the benefit of the lounge, kitchen/diner all in one room, making it warm and cosy when in the winter months the wood burning fire is alight!
A lovely light double bedroom, with large wardrobe, dressing table area, you can even starwatch at night through the velux windows - see if you can spot a shooting star or two especially in August!
